More Things Not To Air Fry In Your Air Fryer

If you haven’t been paying attention to the small kitchen appliance market lately, then perhaps you’ve missed the latest appliance to usurp the Instant Pot in flash popularity — the air fryer. It’s like if a toaster oven and a bowl of hot oil had a weird plastic baby that claims to be better than its parents, but is just a weird plastic baby that only air fries food.

Air fryers can “fry” food with a ton less oil, similar to a pressure cooker using far less time than a crock pot. You can put almost anything in an air fryer. Naturally, the only things you should put in an air fryer are food related, but you might want to put other things in the air fryer. After all, these appliances usually have some sort of drawer or lid, and the temptation to put non-food items in a drawer is about as strong as your craving for air fried banana pudding.

Do not air fry your Apple Watch. The new Apple Watch is dazzling and always-on. Like the air fryer, the Apple Watch purports to be working to improve your health so you probably shouldn’t try to air fry it. Even if the always-on display becomes a source of constant anxiety, frying your Apple Watch is never the solution.
